Surveillance Overview
General Surveillance techniques practiced by private investigators can prove to be invaluable to plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, couples going through divorces or custodial disputes, spouses who suspect their significant other of infidelity, and defendants in criminal cases. While a variety of circumstances can lead an individual to require the surveillance services of a P.I., and each set of circumstances requires a different approach, the work-product cultivated from these operations is rather similar.
The Operation A trained investigator covertly surveils a pre-determined target at the direction of the client. The investigator utilizes audio, video, still photography to objectively document their findings. GPS devices and remote camera set-ups may also be involved when deemed necessary.
The Results A investigation focused on surveillance produces video, audio, and photographic evidence to support the case at hand. Reports summarizing the results are prepared along with a reputable investigator who is prepared to testify to these findings at all mediation sessions, custodial hearings, and court settings.
The Power of Video Very few things are as powerful and hold as much evidentiary value as video. An objective medium such as video allows actions, behaviors, and events to be displayed in a straightforward manner. While past actions, inconsistent statements, and adversarial attitudes on the stand can undermine the credibility of witness testimony, video presents an airtight, unimpeachable method of conveying an account to opposing and/or deciding parties.
